[ARCHIVED] Student submitted the quiz but on the system it showed "This student does not have a submission for this assignment"

Hi All,

I got informed from 1 of the trainer saying that He graded an assessment for all students which was set up as a quiz. The assessment has 2 attempts, when he grade the 2nd attempt, 80% of the student submission says "This student does not have a submission for this assignment"

I also use my admin account to check the student Page View history, there was a log for submission for this quiz and when I checked the log, it show no submission.

I'm not sure what is the problem here, any help would be much appreciated.

I'm having the same problem although in rare instances. It's like from time to time we experience this issue. Another scenario is there's already a grade on the gradebook yet when you check the speedgrader, the "checked" symbol is missing.

What we have been doing is we are manually editing the grade. We edit the score from the original to any score, then to original again.

Appreciate for your help.

This is quite silly, but when I checked again with the Trainer, he actually misread the unit name and that's why he couldn't find his student's submissions. So all sorted.
