Students can't see the subject tiles

My students cannot see the class blocks (forgive my lack of the proper terms) when they open dashboard. Our first class is today, March 30. My subject is, "Adventures in Online Learning with Ms. Johnson."

I am not very tech savvy. So please describe the steps I should take clearly.

Hi  @margaret_johnso  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

There are several potential causes for this, but since community members can only access their own accounts, we are unable to troubleshoot this for you.

My best idea is that you have not yet published your Canvas course, and until you do, it is not visible to students. This guide will show you how https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13030-how-do-i-publish-a-course 

Have you also asked your students to look for your course in the Courses list on the left-side navigation menu? if it shows there but is grayed-out, then the course is not published.  If the course does not show there for your students, then your school has not yet enrolled your students in your course. You will need to contact your school's eLearning support folks.
