I am in the middle of a new implementation and need some advice, please. How does your district handle substitute teacher access for Canvas? Long-term subs seem easy enough, as I can add them as a TA to a course to give them limited access, grade assignments, etc. What about those single-day, short term folks, though? Any access? No access?
Also, is there a super simplified guide or training course that would be appropriate for the specific needs of a substitute. Thank you for any help you might offer!

Silence is golden! 😄 So, after digging around on Twitter and in a SIG to which I belong, here is our plan;
- All subs will be required to complete a district, asynchronous Canvas course housed in Canvas.
- F2f, day-to-day subs will have no access to Canvas classes. Any content, assignments, etc. should already be set by the teacher.
- Long-term subs will be added as TAs in the courses for which they are subbing. This will allow for grading, planning, etc.
- Access will be removed as soon as the assignment ends.
