Test(Dummy) Student

I am having trouble with some of my integrations and would like to set up a "test student" in People.  Some of my content and assignments will work properly in student view and then now work for students.  Is there a way to set up a dummy student in people?

Hi,  @jennifer_poole ‌, if the school for which you're teaching allows it, you or they can create a test or dummy student to use for testing purposes in a course. When I was teaching, I always had a fake student called "Demo Student" for whom I had separate credentials, so I could effectively log in as that student to kick the tires on course design. Some schools maintain a set of fake students that they allow instructors to use.

So the answer is: it's possible, but whether you can do it will depend on the policies set by your school. Please contact the local Canvas admin for the district to see if they will allow this.
