Unpublish Announcements

I am inquiring as to identify a way to unpublished the announcements from a copied Canvas course? I would like to keep them but have them not published until I need to publish them. Please advise

Hi Daniel,

With announcments‌ I am not aware of a way to unpublish them, what you can use is the announcement delay date‌ feature. Where you can keep them in your course and set a future date for them to be published to your students.

Daniel,

as of right now there is no way to unpublish announcements, this idea was up for voting back in 2015 and has not been currently adopted into a new plan for Canvas, thus far. To piggy-back off of  @bneporadny , his recommendation on the announcement delay date is the only way I personally know of to set a future date like he said above.
