Unwanted automatic subject line

Every time I go to send an email to my students through Canvas lately, an unwanted automatic suggestted subject line comes up below the field where I write the subject. It is something I will never use, and I don't know why Canvas automatically suggests it to me every time.  How do I get rid of it?  Thank you.

Where exactly is this happening?  The only place I've ever seen Canvas automatically insert a subject line is when using the Message Students Who feature from the Gradebook or Analytics.

Hi  @sarah_lawrence  Thank You for posting your question.  This might simply be an instance where your browser is storing saved subject lines in your browser cache.  I would equate this to being on a website (not Canvas) and filling out a form asking for your name or address.  I believe you could either highlight the selection that appears below the subject line and tap "Delete" on your keyboard.  Another option you might try is clearing your browser's cache/history:
