Uploading pictures documents

Why will canvas not let me upload a picture and word document? It is telling me that I have an uploading error and that it fails. It's been saying this for a couple of days.

Hello Kaci Vredeveld,

You did not indicate if you are an instructor or a student and where you are trying to upload the files, so I'll try to give a few resources in different cases.

If you are an instructor:

If you are a student:

Also keep in mind:

Canvas does not support file uploads larger than 5 GB.

Also Kaci,

If you are a student and trying to upload the picture and word doc for an assignment submission. You'll have to upload them one at a time. The instructor will be able to see both, but the last file you upload will be the one they see first. My advice is to add a comment that you are uploading both documents.
