Hi All,

I'm curious, has anyone else had any issues where announcement notification emails go out without including a link or an embedded video in the message body?

I have noticed some issues.  One thing to remember when using announcements is that the notification emails students get are just that, notifications of an announcement, not the actual announcement itself. Embedded videos don't show in the notification email.  Students have to view the announcement in Canvas to see the embedded video.   Links should work, though. 

I looked for a Canvas Guide about this and couldn't find one.  Perhaps someone else in the community has more specific documentation they can share.
