Viewing Announcements in chronological order for Instructor

I imported Announcements from an old Canvas course and updated the dates when the Announcements should post. But I would like to see the Announcements in my Instructor view in chronological order. 

Canvas has them in reverse order. See screenshot. The last ones are first. And I do not see anyway to rearrange them, putting them in order. I can view them by Read or Unread, but there is no menu for organizing them by date.  I assume that is because the students should see them by most recent first, but professors should have an option of seeing them in any way we want to on our own screens.

That would help me tremendously in knowing what I have already Announced, and what new Announcements I need to create.

I agree this is a little frustrating.  I also have a long list of Announcements that will be posted on future dates, and I need to scroll down a bit to find the "start" -- they are in chronological order, but from bottom to top, instead of top to bottom.   While this is annoying, I also find it helpful, because I can forget which are my future posts, so I have learned to appreciate it this way -- it forces me to see all the ones that are coming and make sure the future information is still accurate.    It has happened that I forgot edit a future announcement with some udpated information (or I should have moved the date), so it is more likely I will see it if those are on top instead of the active announcement.

thanks, yes, I can see appreciating that. I just think there should be an option to organize it in the way I want to, rather than just one set view.   The way it is now is even more confusing in the middle of the semester, because the top ones are my announcements for December!  So it does not even encourage me to look at what is about to be posted... because those are somewhere in the middle. 

Do I make a suggestion for Canvas to change this on another part of the platform?

Yes, there is a separate area here in the Community where you can submit your suggestions for enhancements and improvements to the core Canvas product.  There are a handful of Guides that you can look through (including one on how to submit your idea/suggestion) listed under the heading "Ideas and Themes" at this link:
