[ARCHIVED] Virtual Bell Schedule?

I am new to Canvas, and I don't know if this would at all be possible.

We are implementing a schedule for mostly synchronous learning for our K-8 school for the next semester. One of the concerns from the administration is that it might be difficult to keep everyone on track in terms of their scheduled classes. I'm wondering if there is an automatic notification that could pop up in people's courses reminding them that it's time for the next class (sort of a virtual school bell)? 

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Sadaf -

Right now, there is not a current way to accomplish this. However, I think you should suggest this as a new feature idea. I'm sure that other schools and instructors would find value in being able to create timed pop-ups/reminders for their students.
