[ARCHIVED] Ways to explain levels of Publishing in Canvas?

Hi Folks, 

Was wondering if anybody had any good examples/ideas of explaining the different levels of publishing in Canvas? We're just migrating over at the moment at our uni and we're looking to create a shareable resource to help remind staff to publish their coursespaces, but also explain about publishing Modules, and individual items (Pages, Quizzes, Files etc.)

Explaining little things like where to click, or where to publish, usually works best for me with a GIF format 🙂 I like the resource you shared from the other college though 🙂

Thanks @epulham a gif is worth a thousand words! Nice demo! Out of curiosity what tool do you use to make your Gifs on OSX?

I used Camtasia for this one (it does a screen recording that I can directly export as a GIF file). But if you don't have that program on your computer, any screen recording can be turned into a GIF by going to this URL: ezgif.com/video-to-gif
