What's the "Show the email address of sender for user interaction Notifications" at Admin's Settings

I notice there's a setting named "Show the email address of sender for user interaction Notifications" at "Admin>>Settings>>Settings".

Does anybody know the detail about this feature? I enabled it in OSS version. But there's nothing happened. And I wonder what the correct expectation is.
