After an outage on September 1, the Instructure Community is now fully available, including guides, release notes, forums, and groups. If some styling still looks unusual, clear your cache and cookies.

I can see in the assignment page all students have been assigned two peer reviews, half the students can see theirs, and half cannot. The students tried using a different browser, refreshing the page, and the students they are assigned to review did submit their work already. Please help! My institution does not pay for the "report a problem" service or direct Canvas assistance, so any advice appreciated.

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. Are the students in different sections or one section? It is odd behavior that half see it and half don't. Have any of them completed the reviews yet? Have you double checked that none of the students have been left behind - did you automatically assign them or manually assign them? This can be a bit difficult without looking at the specifics of the course, the assignment setup, etc. But we understand if you can't contact Canvas Support directly. A lot of the time, students are just unaware of how to find and complete their peer reviews. Please share this guide with them:

They should be able to click on the assignment and see the student names for the peer review on the right. If none of that seems to work, can you provide some screenshots or more specific information to help us in assisting you with the problem. Additionally, if you don't have access to contact Canvas Support, you may want to speak with an admin or IT helpdesk at the school directly who can look into the course with admin permissions. Thanks so much for responding! Sadly my school is not very engaged with their internal helpdesk, though I have submitted a ticket and shall see.
The students are all in the same section. I assigned the peer reviews manually, in groups of three, and the students who cannot see and access theirs are dispersed among the groups randomly. Most have been seeking to access the per reviews from the home page as the other students were able to, so the link may be helpful. I did double-check that none were left behind, all were fully assigned, and I clicked the notify bell again, and students reported being notified, yet not having access when they clicked through into the system. The access date for the assignment is in the past, and I also played around with the due date to see if making it in the past or future helped, it did not, so the due date is set in the future. I will ask them for screenshots if this link or time doesn't resolve the issue.
