Why are my images shown as gray locks in student view?

I have images on a page I made for Canvas. In teacher view the images are shown without problems and are linked to important things within my Canvas course but in student view all of the images are replaced with large grayed out locks. What issue is this and how to I solve the problem?

I've had this problem with the locks and I just fixed it. The images must be uploaded in the "Uploaded images" folder {if this folder is missing from your Files, you can create it with "+ Folder"). I believe that when we add an image to a canvas page, we must choose to upload the image as "Course Image" (while seeing the page where you want to add an image, click Edit and then somewhere in the middle of the horizontal toolbar, on top of the page, there is a button called "Images" with an arrow pointing down to its right; click on this arrow and three options appear: Upload Image, Course Images, an User Images; I choose "Course Images" and now there are no more locks, all my images can be seen in student view.
