Why can't I load videos?

I am trying to upload video lectures and I get an error code 400. When I try a video less than 5 min it works fine. More than that and I get the error code 400. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @jthurston2 ,
Are you recording video using the Rich Content Editor? If so, Canvas recommends uploading videos less than 15 minutes long as longer media lengths need a longer rendering time and can be interrupted without a stable internet connection.
If you are uploading a previously recorded video from your computer, is the file less than 500 MB? Canvas converts files up to 500 MB. If yours exceeds that amount, you may want to host the file through an external source such as YouTube and embed it using the Rich Content Editor.
If your video meets those criteria and you're still experiencing this error, the stability and speed of your internet could be impacting things. You can use a service similar to fast.com to check your internet speed.
