Why can't I see the DocViewer Toolbar in SpeedGrader?

Why can't I see the DocViewer Toolbar in SpeedGrader? I have read that I can only make annotations on certain types of files. How do I save my files so that DocViewer will read them? I have a list of the types of file. Thank you!!!

Are the annotation tools failing to show for all submissions, or only for student submissions that are not compatible file types?

I received help. It was failing to show for all submissions because none of them were compatible. I sent a pdf and it worked. Thanks!
