I am unable to open canvas in my google chrome, I just see a ghost of my courses , how can I fix it?

One thing to try is to clear your cache from your browser. Here are a couple Guides that may help:

Once you have cleared your cache, close your Chrome browser completely, then re-start Chrome. Log in to Canvas to see if anything has changed. (Also, make sure that Chrome is up-to-date if you've not done that already.) If that does not help, you might want to try downloading Mozilla Firefox to see if that works.
If none of those options work, I would recommend that you reach out to Canvas Support folks via your left-hand Global Navigation "Help" menu.
