help with dashboard

hello -  on the dashboard i see no icons - there is only a message saying ;

Welcome to Canvas! 

You don't have any courses, so this page won't be very exciting for now. Once you've created or signed up for courses, you'll start to see conversations from all of your classes.

So we can give you general advice, but for specific guidance, you'll need to work with your school. That message is meant to convey that you aren't enrolled in any courses. If you have indeed enrolled in courses, please contact your school or university registrar's office directly to inquire about your enrollment status and to learn more about when your courses will display in Canvas.
