re-order answers in a multiple answers question?

I am editing a survey I created as a single question quiz with many Multiple Answers. I copied it from last quarter's course, and would like to add answers to it and reorder them (it's a survey to find out when I should hold office hours, so the options really need to be in numerical order, but my schedule is different from last quarter, so...).

Certainly this must be possible?

If you are looking for a way to drag and drop the answer in order, then no.  The only way I know to rearrange answers to a quiz question would be to manually re-enter them in the order you need.

I wonder how to get a response from an employee of Instructure that might include information about the state of the development of this very necessary feature.

While I am not an Instructure employee, I can tell you that @gnoack is correct.  Further, I am assuming that you are using the current/classic quiz interface to create your survey.  Instructure really isn't doing any further work on current/classic quizzes ... as they are moving towards their New Quizzes interface instead.  So, unfortunately, there is a high chance that you won't be seeing much or any development with current/classic quizzes.  You could certainly submit this as a new Feature Idea, though, for New Quizzes.

If interested in using a third party tool, a Google Form survey or a Doodle (doodle.com) meeting scheduler might better meet your need.
