uploading an assignment

How do I upload an assignment?  Does it matter if its a Word doc or Google?  I have tables in assignments in a Workbook and hope they loose that structure!!   thank you.

Are you an instructor trying to create an assignment for your students to complete online?  Or, are you a student trying to attach a document to submit to your instructor?  If you could please provide some additional information for us, that would really help.  Thanks!

I am a student trying to upload an assignment. I was able to finally figure it out on my own. Whewwww glad that is done!
