video assigment used cell phone, not canvas

Used a cell phone to record project for assignment

I have downloaded it to my google drive. also saved to canvas. I can see it in my google drive, I can see in canvas, BUT I cannot submit it .

 please help

Hi @KathrynMcClure -

Within the assignment, it could be your instructor set only certain types of files to be uploaded. If that's the case, the file must match exactly. How do I view details for an assignment in the Canvas Parent app on my iOS Device? 

If you can see it in Google Drive, you may be able to share the URL to that item if your instructor allows a URL submission. (You'll have to remember to adjust the sharing permissions in Google Drive too.)
