According the guide, "The Course Syllabus section will draw information from the Curriculum Management System (CMS) to display the following information:" It seems the system is not ready. How can we switch to Canvas this semester? THanks.

@chssujl ...
Do you know if your school has a third-party Syllabus software integrated with Canvas? For example, there is an integration called Simple Syllabus that can be integrated with Canvas. It almost sounds like this is possibly what is going on for you, but since we cannot see your course, we can't be sure. I would recommend reaching out to your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning department to see if they have something like this integrated with your school's Canvas environment.
Understood. That makes a lot of sense. Thank you very much. I thought I was talking to people from my school.
Hi @chssujl -
The syllabus content will automatically populate as items are added to the course.
How do I use the Syllabus as an instructor?
I feel that I may be missing some information, so if you have additional questions, please let the Community know.
This is what I see when I click Syllabus: The Course Syllabus section will draw information from the Curriculum Management System (CMS) to display the following information
But I cannot access the CMS. So how can I upload and update my syllabus? Thanks very much.
best regards,
Jui-lung

Nope...this is a global Canvas Community website where people from all over the world can come to ask questions and collaborate on all things Canvas. Community members don't have access to other schools' Canvas environments...only their own. 🙂
