Assignments: Submission Types Retain Settings When Editing Assignments

❓ Can we get some clarity on what actions on the instructors part were causing this to happen? We had several mysterious cases where assignments had the submission type changed and we couldn't identify the cause, but we want to make sure that we fully understand what was happening here--I can't find any mentions of it in any other forum, so I am guessing this was uncovered through a direct-to-Canvas support. Our team is very interested in understanding more about what was causing this so we can understand if this is where our issue originated, or if we need to explore the potential for this switch happening elsewhere. Would just love some more details about what actions would cause it to switch.
