Canvas deploys contain code changes that are intended to fix bugs, improve performance, and prepare for new features. These deploys take place every two weeks and can be tested in the beta environment before the production deploy date indicated in the title of this document. Institutions are responsible for conducting thorough evaluations of their custom CSS/JS with each release and deploy to assess potential impacts.
Fixed bugs are located in Known Issues. For related issues resolved in this deploy, view the 2025-05-07 Known Issues tag.
Unless otherwise stated, all features in this deploy are available in the Beta environment on 2025-04-24 and the Production environment on 2025-05-07.

Summary
When adding LTI 1.1 tools, admins are redirected to the Legacy Apps page to complete the installation. Additionally, if a selected LTI 1.3 tool on the Discover page lacks configuration details, the Install App modal defaults to the manual installation method.
Change Benefit
This update streamlines the installation process for LTI tools by guiding admins to the correct setup page and reducing confusion when configuration details are missing.
Feature Workflow
Canvas Apps: Install 1.1 LTI
When admins select the 1.1 LTI version radio button, text displays redirecting to the legacy apps page.
Canvas Apps: Install 1.3 LTI
LTI 1.3 tools without configuration details default to manual installation.
