Our team is new to Canvas and supports instructors with building online courses prior to inagural delivery. I am trying to determine the best way to setup studio videos for instructors that can later be revised by another member of our development team or the instructor.
It seems that quizzes, annotations, and comments can only be added/edited by one person in their own library even if the video is shared to a collection. If this is correct then it does not seem we have a mechanism to set these up for instructors or even for our two developers to make updates to each others work.
Looking for guidance anyone has on how course developers can create studio media (including quizzes, annotations, and comments) that is later handed over for ongoing use and maintenance by an instructor.
Thanks!
Hi @TanyaMcPherson ...
I've not really tried this myself, and I'm not even sure if it would fully address/answer your question... but what if you created a generic Canvas account that wasn't tied to one person. Maybe it would be a shared account for you and your team members. Then, you would both have access to the videos within the Studio Library where you could maintain your videos. But, if you share those videos with others, you might run into the same situation that you've already described. I don't know...this is just an initial thought I had...for what it's worth. I hope it might help in some way.
