Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with using Studio on an iPad. The short answer is - it depends. Are you using the Canvas app or a browser on your tablet? Studio isn't 100% compatible across all different device types with full functionality. You can read more about it here:

The second part of the short answer is - if it isn't working for you as intended on a tablet, then you'll want to use a real computer or laptop. It could also be your particular OS version and/or things like clearing the cache and cookies. Hopefully this helps.
