Media Archive and Restore
Summary
Media archiving in Studio allows users to remove videos from the main library without permanently deleting them. The Archive option replaces the Delete option, giving users the ability to manage and restore content as needed from the Archive collection.
A Media Management permission controls permanent deletion. Unless users are granted the Allow users to permanently delete archived media items permission, only admins can delete archived media permanently. Currently, bulk archiving is not supported.
Change Benefit
This feature supports easier content recovery and improved library management by allowing users to restore archived media. Additionally, this feature streamlines media management by allowing users to maintain a cleaner, more organized media library.
