We’re back with some more updates to the Instructure Community! We’ve been working on some new features to make filtering and sorting articles in the Community easier. If you’re a frequent visitor, you may notice some of these updates look similar to the Known Issues page. We’re excited to bring the filtering options, sorting capabilities, and more to more areas in the Community. The Product Blog now utilizes multi-select label filters, so you can filter the blog feed by product or label. You can also sort the blog feed by published date, views, likes, and replies. These new features are available now and provide an upgraded browsing experience when reading the Product Blog.
Updated Interface
The interface of the Product Blog page has been updated to include a new header, filter and sort options, select labels section, and an improved blog feed. The sidebar has been simplified to remove unnecessary content.
New Filter Options
New Filter options are available. You can select multiple options to filter blog articles. To apply the selected filter options, click the Apply Filters button. To clear all filters, click the Clear Filters button.
When you apply filters, the applied filter labels display in the Select Labels section
Sort Options
The sort options enable you to sort the blog feed by publish date (newest or oldest), likes, views, or replies. To sort the feed, select an option from the Sort Articles drop-down.
New Blog Feed Interface
The individual article interface in the blog feed has been updated to match the newly updated feed styles throughout the Community. This new feed style provides a unified, concise view to allow you to quickly browse articles in the Product Blog.
