Hi all,
I'm Allison Howell, the new product manager for the team that manages the Course Pacing feature. I'll be taking over communication from David Lyons moving forward, but I wanted to publicly say that I'm extremely grateful to him for all of the work he's put into this feature and in managing this group. You'll still see him around, but I'll be your main contact from here on out.
This group has been rather quiet as we've been in active development, but I'm happy to report that we will be turning on section pacing on production on Monday, July 25. The functionality is already ready to check out on beta. Please take some time over the next few weeks to investigate and let us know what you think.
We've also been working on designs for creating student paces, which we understand is a requirement for most of you. We are ready to conduct user testing sessions and are asking group members to schedule some time with us here so that we can get your feedback.
I'm looking forward to working with all of you to improve Course Pacing.
