Build an Oracle Data Warehouse from Canvas Data

We want to take the Canvas download files and upload them into an Oracle data warehouse rather than using Amazon RedShift. Has anyone done something like this?

I can run a job that will download the files and using the CanvasData CLI, I can unpack them into a shared drive to upload them into the Oracle. Where can I pickup the download files on the Canvas server?

Is there database schema software that will read the json file (or is there another file?) so that I can visually see the relationships between the tables?

I am sure that I am not asking all the right questions yet, can you tell me what I am missing?

In it  @James ​ provides the links for the code to load the gz files into mySQL.  I would read the post and look over the code as it will likely need to be modified for your specific use.
