504 Gateway Time-out for quiz

I have been using the quiz api for years without problems but recently I am receiving 504 Tateway Time-out responses. Can anyone direct me to what needs to be fixed?

Hi @Ralph_Schwehr,

Can you tell us what specific API calls you're using when receiving the timeout, and perhaps how many enrollments the course has just for a reference.  I haven't used the quiz API very much myself, but the timeout error leads me to believe that a lot of data is being requested and the database isn't responding quickly enough for the API to produce a result.  If you can provide more details, someone might be able to confirm or deny my suspicion and come up with some possible alternatives.
