Attaching Terms to Grading Periods through the API

Hi, all! I've scoured the API and I can't seem to find this functionality, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction --

I need to attach Terms to Grading Periods. That seems simple enough, right?

Except that with the OneRoster SIS plugin and 184 schools, I now have a lot of terms (like 500+ terms?) that I need to attach to the grading period...and I don't want to sit for an hour and click each term.

I can't for the life of me find the API call that lets me attach the terms to the grading period or a SIS import that lets me attach a grading period. Anybody have a solution that involves either the API or a SIS import?

I think you need to use the grading period sets POST API call:

https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/live#!/grading_period_sets.json/create_grading_period_set_pos...

This seems to let you attach grading periods to a term

I would try this in your test instance first maybe using a trial term
