Help with Element Toggler and aria-expanded Settings

Hello, all!

I'm trying to use the Element Toggler feature from the style guide inside of a course. When I set aria-expanded to "false", they are still all expanded. Is this expected behavior? Or should setting it to false collapse all of the "Togglers"?

Here's what is happening on save/load of page:

And what I expect/want to happen save/load of page:

Aria is an accessibility standard to tell screen readers about the structure of a page. Browsers don't do anything with these attributes.

You will need to use CSS to visibly hide elements.

Hi Kenneth

It's well worth having a read through all the comments here:

Using jQuery without Custom Javascript

With talk of Canvas 'deprecating the use of jQuery UI "widgets"' (direct quote from jnickerson@bscs.org‌) you may decide that longevity outweighs the value of your desired design (this is what I'm currently pondering myself!).

Cheers
