Looking for use cases of Liferay integrations for Canvas

Please share if you know if there are universities out there who have developed solutions in Liferay to integrate in Canvas (using API and/or LTI).

A brief description of the purpose of the solution(s) and the name of the university would already be very helpful!

Unfortunately I don't know of any real world examples.  Hopefully someone else will.  I pulled the following quote from a forum where I am pretty sure they were referencing Instructure Canvas LMS, ""It's fairly straightforward to integrate Canvas w/ Liferay SAML, it's quite another to create a bunch of portlets pulling data from Canvas."

I am going through having a look at some of the early days in the Canvas Developers group, and checking in to see if older enquiries have been answered. I also noticed there hasn’t been any discussion on this question in quite some time.

I am wondering, were you ever able to resolve this with the assistance Scott provided? I am hoping I can assume that it is well and truly resolved by now, but if not, please let us know and we can certainly have another look. Alternatively, if have some insights you may be able to share for others that would be awesome too!

Hi  @stuart_ryan ‌, thank you for following up. My original question is not relevant to us any more as we are using Drupal now for our student/teacher intranet sites. The aim would be to aggregate e.g. to do's, due dates from Canvas to these sites.
