New Gradebook: How can I add an item to the Action Menu?

We have a custom file we made for grade exports we have had attached to the existing gradebook since we adopted Canvas. We want to be able to have that export format in the new gradebook as well, but the issue I'm wrestling with is where to put the control to trip the export. In the old gradebook, I just added a button next to the regular export button. In the new gradebook, the export is in the "Action" menu which is built dynamically. I'd love to add an item to that menu for our custom gradebook download, but I can't figure out how to do it. Has anyone figured out how to manipulate the menus in the new gradebook to be able to add new items?
