xAPI implemented further?

At Northwestern we would love to see further implementation of xAPI (Tin Can) such that grades could be passed back to Canvas gradebook from HTML5 material our community has created in tools such as Articulate. Our CSM recommended we solicit interest from the Community, so I'm curious if there is interest out there or non-SCORM recommendations, as we have turned SCORM off due to security concerns.
