I am liking this feature, and gather it is early days. I notice we can message to a tag group via Canvas inbox, however it would be great if we could also post to a tag group via discussion or announcement.
Hi @SamGarza1 Our teachers and administrators are asking for the ability to use tag groups in announcements. I hope you move forward with the plans to make it possible to target announcements to specific groups. In courses with large student cohorts, both teachers and administrators want to be able to communicate with different student groups. In these cases, they prefer using Announcements over Inbox, since all teachers can then see what has been communicated to students and when — unlike when an individual teacher sends a message.
