Unable to delete differentiation tag using csv file upload via SIS upload area

I previously created a set of differentiation tags for a group of classes using SIS csv file upload. These tags appeared in the classes as expected.

I recently reversed action by changing the status for several of these classes so the csv file uploaded is essentially the same, but the status was changed from accepted to deleted. After uploading the file to the SIS, I found the tags remained firmly rooted in those classes. I tried running the process again, and this time, I selected the Override UI changes and Clear UI-changed state but the tags still remain firmly attached to the classes.

Anyone else having the same issue?
