The redesign is completely antithetical to what I use discussions for. I want to see replies as I am scanning through the list of responses. I want students to read all of those, and if they have to click extra links to get to them, they won't. Oh sure, it looks pretty, but it is not representing a discussion. I disabled this sucker.

@lori_campbell  The Discussion/Announcements Redesign project is still a feature preview in beta; in other words, it is still being developed and evaluated by end users. The product manager (who leads the hard-working team that developed "this sucker," as you term it) is actively engaging with members and requesting feedback.
