Enrolling students

Hoping someone has the ability to guide me in their issue.

I have just a few students who I am unable to get enrolled.

I have sent them a direct invitation from Canvas, sent them the code to self-enroll, and have them try to log into Canvas using the G to make things easier to join a class, and nothing seems to be working.

This seems to be a topic the Canvas support won't address for the FFT accounts.

So any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is there ANY way to change the user name for a student in a course? I have one student whose last name I misspelled and there does not seem to be any way to correct the spelling.

I'm pretty sure the student can edit their own name by clicking on their account in the side bar and then going to profile.

@vcarmer is correct, that's the most effective way to change a student's displayed name in the free version of Canvas. If you're still having trouble, let me know and I can intervene as well. Thanks.
