Use Badgr (or similar) to automate graduation notifications Internally/Externally?

I was putting together a proposal to use Open Badges to gamify/incentivise students throughout their course and also provide micro-credentials aligned with industry partners. 
Aside from this, I'm looking at using badgr as a means of signifying when a student has simply completed the course they are enrolled in (ie Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking -  completion of the final module = badge awarded). 

What I've been asked to find and cannot find is, is there any way to use badgr to automatically update our student services team that a student has completed a course? I can manually track the awarded badges but I cannot find any notifications options for the issuer.
Does anyone know if this is possible at all?
