The ability to create a temporary debug/test institution, e.g. debug.instructure.com via the instructure.com website so developers can experiment with Admin settings, e.g. Developer Keys, SSO, etc.

Thanks for sharing this idea. Canvas provides beta and test instances for this purpose (How do I access the Canvas beta environment as an admin? andHow do I access the Canvas test environment as an admin? ). Developer keys will work in our test instance; however, where apps need to make calls on behalf of students and teachers, they will not work unless access to beta for teachers and students has been turned on for the account in Feature Options.

Have you tried doing your testing in your test instance?
