Enable instructors to move discussion threads into another discussion forum

I am an administrator of a subaccount for my university's Canvas installation.

When a student posts to the wrong discussion forum, there is not a method of moving the thread into the appropriate discussion forum. This is a feature that is present in Moodle and our users utilized with a fair amount of frequency when we used that LMS.

Can we have a feature for the instructor to manually move a student's discussion post from one board or group to another?

This would help when students either post in the wrong place, need to be moved into a new group after being added late to a class, or when they just need be moved from one group to another. Asking the student to repost isn't always ideal, nor is it ideal for the instructor to have to copy/paste the post to preserve the content.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
