Hiding course items from a particular student

Sometimes, due to Individualized Education Plans, a student joining a course late, or other circumstances, it is necessary to omit course items, both content and activities, for one student. Currently there is no easy way to do this. It would be really helpful if there was a quick way to hide particular content and activities from one student.

Thanks Stefanie - because we are an asynchronous "work at your own pace" kind of school, we don't use due dates, so that other suggestion would not really help us.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
