New Quizzes: Identify Questions with Broken Links in the Link Validator

The Link Validator does a good job of identifying the specific course asset and the specific link for most items including pages, assignments, discussions, etc. Unfortunately, if there's a broken link in a quiz question, it does not identify the question, rather it directs users to the item bank. This is unhelpful when there are hundreds of questions in an item bank to sift through searching for a possible broken link. There should be some way to identify which question is being affected at the least.

@robert_mandell Thanks for sharing this idea. We've made a few edits to align it with New Quizzes terminology and have moved it forward for broader discussion.

@robert_mandell, excellent idea! We use New Quizzes extensively at our institution and would really appreciate its becoming connected to Link Validator for both questions and stimuli.
