New Quizzes: Include Item Analysis for Graded Surveys in new Quiz Tool

Item Analysis needs to be included for Canvas Quiz Surveys (both graded and ungraded), just like it is for Graded Quizzes. On the Statistics page, the Item Analysis button is currently greyed out (see attached), even though the same data is reflected in the Question Breakdown on the same page. 

A couple of examples of why these aggregate statistics would be useful are:

1. Compiling survey data from a mid- or end-of-course survey
2. Giving credit (with a Graded Survey) for the completion of a survey that you want to record the aggregate survey data

I understand that Canvas is phasing out the old Quiz tool, so this is a perfect opportunity to add this functionality to the new Quiz tool.

You might also be interested in supporting https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1229-new-quizzes-likert-scale-question-type-as-ready-option

Thanks Stephanie. Good to get the car ahead of the horse! I wasn't aware that survey-type quizzes were not in the New Quiz tool yet.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
