Best Newcomer: George Brown College

EesyAwards Best Newcomer - Winner 2020 (1).gif

We have had so many customers join us this past year, making this an especially tough category! The winner we selected has been so invested since Day 1, utilizing their support center, messaging options, and data insights. They work on a multi-departmental team to improve both student LMS use and faculty training for online courses, which was critical during COVID-related moves to digital learning. For example, you can see this message below using H5P to link faculty to online learning resources in an eye-catching, engaging way. Congrats George Brown College. When our customers recommend us to other institutions, it makes us happy! This award is for those customers that have spread the word about Impact. Dr. Karen Acree from San Juan College has been instrumental in sharing San Juan College's experience with Impact to prospective customers including Canvas users, fellow New Mexican universities, and other similarly situated community colleges. Our sales and customer success teams are thankful for your collaboration!

San Juan College has been working hard to promote their most commonly used third-party tool, Knowmia, to help faculty reduce storage space in their courses. Check out this example here!

Many customers have continued to present with us even with the move to virtual conferences. We are also thankful for customers who have collaborated on informative webinars about Impact features. Among all of our presentations in 2020, one that stood out was with Gordon Cunningham!

Gordon is the Enterprise Lead for Learning Platforms at Curtin University, and he detailed some of the different ways Curtin University has used Impact to improve their online learning experience. In this webinar, Gordon and Mieke discussed how they tackled Covid-19 related challenges and boosted Blackboard Collaborate usage. Check it out here!

For the Most Innovative Impact Award, we had to choose two winners!

As more universities and private institutions use our solutions to measure LMS usage, drive tool adoption, and improve LMS support, we have seen lots of interesting and creative use cases appear! This year, we chose two winners for their innovative approach to verify student compliance and provide students with necessary student information. For the most Innovative Impact we had to choose two winners, in no particular order, the winners are:

Finally, for our Superstar Customer of the year, our award goes to Jolie and Lené from Foothill College! According to our interview with them this year (link above), Impact was instrumental in ensuring academic continuity at Foothill College. Foothill takes advantage of Impact's in-line messaging, tool adoption reports, and support center anytime they can in order to support and guide users during the transition to fully online education this year. We look forward to seeing what else they will do next year!
