The Instructure Product Team is working on implementing a better solution to collect your feedback. Read Shiren's blog for more information.
When viewing user comments from the Message or Support Insights, the Comments table displays both the user IDs (for Impact messages) or their first and last names (for support articles), along with their associated email addresses. However, when attempting to export the information in this table using the "Export" drop-down and selecting either the "Data as csv" or "Data as pdf" option, the email addresses are not exported; only the user IDs or names are exported. This requires the email addresses to be manually merged in as an additional step if Impact administrators are not replying to users directly, or if the feedback is being supplied to another team for response.
Please allow the export "data as csv" or "data as pdf" output to include the displayed email addresses, as already shown in the Comments table. It's not explained in any existing documentation why this function removes the email information, requiring extra work to restore the information that already exists within the Comments table anyway, making it challenging to respond to user feedback outside of the Impact interface.
