Reducing Storage Usage Within The LMS

Campaign Description: With the increased usage of the LMS comes an increase in the usage of storage. For some institutions, this can lead to unexpected costs from LMS vendors and long loading times for students. This collection of messages can be used to help instructors and students decrease their storage usage with a couple of tips and tricks.

Success Criteria: Seeing a decrease in the number of videos and other large files uploaded directly within the LMS.

Location: Add a new file (instructors)

Audience: Instructors

Due to limited storage space, all instructors must limit their file upload size to 10 MB. If you are uploading a large video, we recommend using a video streaming service or post a YouTube link in the content area. If you need help with reducing the size of your file, click here for more instructions.
