Course Survey Tool Recommendations?

Hi Canvas Community!

My institution is currently searching for a course survey tool that integrates with Canvas. Integration with our SIS (Anthology Student) is also an ideal feature. We have already hosted demos for Blue by Explorance and Watermark and will have one with Class Climate by Scantron this week. Please let me know:

- If you have also hosted demos with any of these vendors and what your impressions were

- If you use or have previously used any of these tools and your experience

- Any insights you have into the cost of the tools and whether it was worthwhile for your institution

We are interested in chatting with anyone who has leveraged these tools as we look to select one of them.

We have been very successful using Blue in all of our schools across Tufts University (Canvas LMS/PeopleSoft SIS/OASIS Clinical Scheduling). Explorance is a great vendor, and Blue is a great product. Happy to Zoom and discuss.

Hi @MKBickford,

We have been using Watermark Course Evaluations and Surveys (formerly EvaluationKit) at my institution for about 10 years now.  We chose it because everything could be done solely based off of an integration with Canvas (no SIS integration needed).  It has worked very well for us and done almost everything we needed.  The only thing I wish it had was more perhaps interactive reporting options/dashboards that we could share with Department Chairs and Deans.  Feel free to send me a DM here if you'd like any more details.
